A Beneficiary Owner (BO) account is your account at CDBL, Bangladesh’s central depository. It holds your shares, bonds and mutual fund units electronically.
You need a BO account, opened through a depository participant like SASL, to buy or sell on DSE and CSE or to apply for an IPO. Once opened, you get a 16-digit BO ID and a SASL client code.
Single, joint, link, company, NRB or foreign.
Personal, bank and nominee details in one guided form.
NID, photo, signature and bank proof.
bKash, Nagad, bank or Bangla QR.
Sent by SMS and email once CDBL confirms.
Pay the account opening fee your way
After submitting the form, pay the BO opening fee and CDBL charges using any of these methods.
